WPT 01 · WEEK ONE

Basecamp

Last light at the trailhead. Gear laid out by the fire. The path ahead visible but unlit.

Final preparations for the great expedition. Tonight the ranks come off. Who reports to who, who's further along, who we were, it all gets left at this ridge line. Seven men, level for eight weeks. No advice, no debating, nobody gets fixed, nobody gets ranked.

Then the rope tied between us gets tested before we trust it with our lives. What's endured up here stays up here.

TERRITORY: the expedition contract, and the first crossing.

ACT I · EIGHT WEEKS · EIGHT WAYPOINTS

THE DESCENT

The man, before the partner, before the father.
Eight weeks on the interior terrain. One waypoint at a time.

Every trail on this route exists on your own map. We walk it together, torches lit.

WPT 02 · WEEK TWO

The Cache

Off the trail, a cache dug into the hillside. Supplies someone buried long ago and never came back for.

Every man arrives carrying a pack he didn't fully pack himself. His father put things in it. His school. His locker room. Some of it got buried to survive boyhood, and burying it was smart, back then. The only tragedy is that nobody ever came back for it.

This week we dig.

TERRITORY: what you learned to hide to stay loved, and where it leaks out now.

WPT 03 · WEEK THREE

The Hall of Mirrors

A slot canyon of polished black stone. Every surface reflects. And the figures you see in the walls, the ones that make your skin crawl, are all wearing your face.

The strongest reactions you have to other men are not opinions. They're cargo. This is the waypoint where the map starts reading you.

TERRITORY: contempt as a compass. What you judge hardest, and what it's doing in your pack.

WPT 04 · WEEK FOUR

The Father's Cavern

Behind the waterfall, a cave you've walked past a hundred times. Inside: a workbench, tools rusted mid-task, initials half-carved. Someone worked in here for years. Alone.

Every man inherits a pack from a man who inherited a pack. This week we walk into the workshop nobody was invited into. Not to put him on trial. To survey what got handed down, and to say the things that never got said.

TERRITORY: the inheritance. What you swore you'd never repeat, and where it leaks anyway.

WPT 05 · WEEK FIVE

The Warden's Tower

High on the route, a watchtower surveils the whole valley. The Warden inside logs every stumble, forecasts every catastrophe, and reads the charges aloud at night.

Then you realize: he's been narrating this entire expedition through your earpiece since basecamp. He is not you. He's a program someone else installed. This is the week we take the tower.

TERRITORY: the inner critic. Its actual words, and whose voice it stole.

WPT 06 · WEEK SIX

The Still Lake

A high glacial lake, wind-still, dead silent. Every trail on the map converges here. There is no route around it.

To cross, the party stops moving for the first time. The water is still because nothing has flowed through it in thirty years. This is the one waypoint where there's nothing to figure out. Only something to feel.

TERRITORY: what the carrying cost you. The toll every tradition says must be paid before the gold.

WPT 07 · WEEK SEVEN

The Gold Vein

Past the lake, the cave wall breaks open on a seam of ore, running through the same rock you've called worthless for six weeks.

Not everything in the pack was buried because it was dark. The best things went in first: the gifts that weren't safe to have, the size that was too much for the room. The vein was always there. This is the week it gets claimed. Without a disclaimer.

TERRITORY: the disowned gold. What you're actually capable of, said clean.

WPT 08 · WEEK EIGHT

Return Ridge

The walk back down. Same mountain, different men. From the ridge you can see basecamp below, and past it, the village: partners, kids, the lives waiting.

A descent that doesn't return to the village was just tourism in the dark. Each man walks down carrying a small, heavy piece of ore and three sentences that are entirely his. The fire gets lit one last time.

TERRITORY: the three sentences, spoken to witnesses. And what happens after the mountain.

The shape of a week

One call a week. Two to three hours. Same skeleton every time, so the structure disappears and the conversation is all that's left: ritual to open, breathwork to drop in, two questions in the middle that every man answers, ritual to close.

The other six days are where it lands: one small experiment, ninety seconds of daily practice, and your own counsellor session: the surgeon's table for whatever the mountain shakes loose.

Rough and shipped beats perfect and private.

Experiment #1: the pattern log

Once a day, you write down one moment you reacted on autopilot. What triggered it. What you did. What it reminded you of.

Two lines. Seven days. That's it.

By day seven you will have caught at least one pattern red-handed. That's the first cave, mapped.

The finish line

Act I is done when you can finish three sentences without flinching:

"A pattern that runs me is …"

"The fear underneath it is …"

"What I refuse to hand my kids is …"

Every man leaves with his own three sentences. Nobody leaves with yours.

The seat

Free, not casual. The price is three things: you show up. Every call, they're the spine. You do the work between them. And you give brutal feedback, because you're a co-founder of this thing, not a customer.

Six seats. Four are inked.

I'm in, tell Isaiah
